One of the best wrestlers in the world is coming to Cleveland, Ohio.

Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) announced on Sunday that Zack Sabre Jr. will be making his AIW debut on March 18 at Gauntlet for the Gold. Tickets can be purchased here.

Side note for you AIW fans. Pentagon Jr. of Lucha Underground will also be at Gauntlet for the Gold. These two are no strangers.

If you do not know who Zack Sabre Jr. is, we will give you a quick lesson. After all, when one of the best technical wrestlers comes to your city, it’s only best to be informed.

– Sabre Jr. is from England and was trained by the NWA-UK Hammerlock school. He made his debut in 2004 and is 28 years old.

– Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked him No. 165 of the Top 500 singles wrestlers in PWI 500 in 2015.

– Was featured in a WWE.com article proclaimng Sabre Jr. as one of the EVOLVE wrestlers to watch, which included Cleveland’s own Johnny Gargano, Timothy Thatcher, “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams (one half of the AIW Tag Team Champions), and Anthony Nese.

The article included this quote from WWN’s Gabe Sapolsky:

“I’ll go on the record as saying Zack is the best technical wrestler on the planet. The things that he can do to a man’s arms and legs make you cringe when you watch it. He bends them into such unnatural positions.

“He’s also an escape artist. It’s hard for other wrestlers to put holds on him, because he knows counter after counter after counter. When it comes to elite talent, Zack Sabre, Jr.’s at the top of the list right now.”

– NXT Champion Finn Balor is one of his business partners in a merchandise venture called SPLX.

– Has competed in promotions such as Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH and UK leagues PROGRESS Wrestling, IPW and Revolution Pro, and PWG in Los Angeles.

– Speaking of Balor, the two have had some epic matches throughout the years, including this battle at PROGRESS.

– Has competed against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, A.J. Styles, Jushin Thunder Liger, Cesaro, Davey Richards, Jimmy Havoc, and many more. Below are some videos of his matches.

See you at AIW’s Gauntlet for the Gold in March, Zack!
